I became interested in acupuncture when I was successfully treated with it after getting malaria in South America. I had previously travelled extensively in China and worked in Taiwan, leaning to speak Chinese while I was there.
I graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading in 1996. We were taught to combine 5 Element acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine styles of treatment to cover different techniques where one or both are more appropriate.
I enjoy working with all people but have specialized in fertility – male and female, hayfever, migraines and headaches, back pain and insomnia.
I try to create a calm and quiet atmosphere and feel it is very important to listen carefully and give clients a space where they can feel safe and supported.
I am a member of the BAcC which has a Code of Practice, Code of Ethics and Continued Professional Development policy
