Abhyanga – Whole Body Massage

Nabhi Abhyanga – Abdominal Massage

A non-invasive massage technique to the abdomen that helps to tone the abdominal organs and assists in weight loss around the stomach area. Great for digestive issues such as IBS, Colitits and can help emotional trauma. Can be paired with Udvartana – Herbal Body Scrub for a weight loss package. Please ask for details

 

Pinda Sveda Herbal Bolus De-Stress

A rejuvenating, strengthening, and nourishing massage which uses cotton poultice bags filled with specially selected herbs which are pressed gently over the body. It helps to alleviate muscle and joint pain, tensions, and stress.

 

Kati Basti

A unique warm oil treatment for the lower back which can be helpful in treating all lower back ailments including acute and chronic pain, nerve disorders, and sciatica.

Greeva Basti

A specialized warm oil treatment for the back of the neck, it is ideal for people suffering from acute and chronic neck pains, nerve problems, tension, and stress related ailments.

Hridaya Basti

The heart area is continuously bathed with warm Ayurvedic oils. This treatment is ideal for relieving nervousness, anxiety, and fear. It assists with ailments such as high blood pressure and heart conditions.

 

Marma Abhyanga –  Energy Point Massage

An energising and detoxing massage of the Marma (Energy) points that stimulates the circulatory, immune and nervous systems.

 

Udvartana – Herbal Body-Scrub Massage

Mukhabhyanga – Traditional Ayurvedic Face Lift Massage

Karana Purana- Ear Treatment

Akshitarpana – Eye Treatment

An unique Ayurvedic treatment that can bring relief to stressed, tired, burning and watery eyes. Calms the mind. Very good for menopausal issues

Nasya – Nasal Clearing

A gentle facial massage is followed by a stream therapy and the application of warm herbal oils through the nose. This treatment can be highly effective in relieving headaches, sinusitis, migraines, sleep ailments, hay fever and tiredness.

Shireen was first introduced to Complementary Therapy through meeting a Reflexologist whilst training as an Adult Nurse at Oxford Brookes in 2002. It inspired her to want to learn about the preventative perspective of health care and how it was just, if not more, important in helping and educating others’ in dis-ease and health.

Shireen trained in a Complementary Therapies Diploma at the City of Bath College and qualified in 2006. She also qualified as a Traditional Thai Master practitioner Diploma in 2008 at the Highly esteemed Body Harmonics Centre in Cheltenham. As an experienced holistic practitioner Shireen is continually developing her skills and furthering her knowledge in holistic health and nutrition through reading, research, attending talks and workshops and has a deep, extensive knowledge and understanding of the human body through various studies and nursing. Shireen’s practice aim is to tailor each treatment as acutely as possible to address the specific problem areas. This can be achieved through incorporating different massage disciplines, giving a uniquely synergistic and individual treatment. Fully qualified and insured practitioner member of the FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists)
