Deep Tissue Massage aims to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fibres of the muscles, tendons and fascia. A deep-tissue massage helps loosen muscle tissues, release toxins from muscles and get blood and oxygen circulating properly.

I trained at BCMB and I am a MTI registered, Holistic Massage Therapist. I feel passionate about massage and aim to provide a caring, non-judgemental touch, with the intention to nurture and heal. I feel it is an honour to be able to support people on their journey to health and wellbeing through massage.
I realised quite quickly that I wanted to develop my knowledge and understanding to focus more upon working with women, particularly during their pregnancy and into their postnatal period. So I signed up to complete the Massage & Pregnancy Diploma with Well Mother, a course and syllabus which is seen as the global gold standard for pregnancy massage.
I now offer bespoke treatments to both men and women, specifically tailored to suit the clients individual needs, drawing from a wide range of techniques, from subtle energy work to deep tissue methods; from stretching and mobilization to gentle holds. By working in a client centred way and taking into account the emotional as well as the physical, I treat my clients as a whole, offering treatments that leave you feeling relaxed, revived and invigorated.

Anna’s passion for complementary therapies started when she received a short reflexology session, which helped to release pain that she had. She decided to study Reflexology to be in the position to support others. She qualified as a Reflexologist in 2008 and went on to gain her Diploma in Holistic Massage two years later.
She has been constantly upgrading her knowledge and skills by attending reflexology, massage and healing workshops.
She has been supporting different types of people, specializing in dealing with stress and stress related conditions and also supporting people that face emotional challenges. I’m passionate about many forms of alternative health and complementary medicine, but holistic massage therapy is my chosen path of expertise. I started out on a completely different path in life, studying politics and economics up to Master’s level at the London School of Economics. After spending a few years working for some well-known international organisations, I took the decision to embark on a career change to pursue my passions of holistic healing and organic living.
After gaining some experience in these areas during my travels around the world, I returned home and studied to MTI level 4 (CertHE) in Holistic Massage Therapy under a master Osteopath and Massage Therapist. This course also included a solid grounding in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, so if you suffer from a chronic musculoskeletal or immune disorder, I’ll approach your needs as an individual. However, should you simply need a relaxing massage, you will be in good hands too!
