Healthy and happy bump and birth is a Yoga therapy for expecting mums, where centuries old natural yogic tools are utilised to create mindful and knowledgeable experience for mum and growing baby. The requirements of the mum and baby are different during the different phases of the pregnancy, so is the practice adjusted to suit those phases. The practice aims to create calmness and inner stability, which is a healthy eco system for the growing foetus in the first 12 weeks. Followed by gentle physical work to stabilise and engage abdominal muscles, protect the lower back and prepare for the birth process. In the final stage, various important breathing techniques are added that help during the delivery. Each case is very individual, so are the yoga therapies designed.
