Thank you for your interest in renting space at Neal’s Yard Remedies Therapy Rooms in Bath Spa. All the therapists here are self-employed but enjoy the benefits of being above a busy shop and being amongst other therapists. We also support you with marketing and offer a discount for shop purchases.
We have five beautiful therapy rooms above the shop in the centre of Bath. The reception for the clinic is operated in the shop and we have an on-line booking system so you can see all your bookings on line and will get an email when an appointment is made or changed. You can also book people in yourself.
We are particularly interested in hearing from practitioners who have been qualified for a minimum of two years, are enthusiastic about building their own practice and will feel comfortable in the informal and dynamic Neal’s Yard Remedies community.
Sessions are weekly for a minimum of 3.5 hours with time (usually about 15 minutes) at the start and end of your clinic to set up and pack away.
When you first start and need to build up a client base you only pay when you get a booked and paid for appointment. The charge is £20 per booked hour. You do not get charged if you do not have any bookings.
Once established usually after 3 to 6 months (we review on a 3 monthly basis) you will move onto the monthly charge which is worked out at £11 per clinic hour. The smallest number is 3.5 clinic hours a week. Clinic hours are a set session(s) each week. At the moment you are charged in arrears at the end of each month . If you are on the £11 an hour slot you still have to pay even if the slot is not booked.
We use the FRESHA booking system and there is a charge if a client uses it to book online or uses it to pay on line minimum of 24p if they do not use Fresha to pay for the appointment or 1.4% plus 20p per booking therapy charge. If someone books with you via the Fresha webpage rather than via us and our websites, google page, facebook etc Fresha charge 20% finders fee but this rarely happens.
For bookings taken over the phone or via the shop there is a £1.50 charge if we take payment to cover card payment fees and admin. All therapists must also have their own system for taking payments so that clients can also pay them directly. There are some excellent apps for this purpose.
All practitioners who practice in our therapy rooms are asked to sign a license agreement, which outlines our standard operating procedures. They must also provide original photocopies of their qualifications (for all therapies they wish to practice) in addition to providing proof of valid insurance cover to be returned with the application form. We also ask for membership of one of the governing bodies for the therapies they offer.
All practitioners are required to have ongoing membership of a governing organisation for the therapy they offer, and insurance.

We look for practitioners that have at least 2 years experience and offer therapies that complement what we already offer and if we think you would fit in well we will ask you in for an interview and to give one of us a sample treatment.
