Shireen was first introduced to Complementary Therapy through meeting a Reflexologist whilst training as an Adult Nurse at Oxford Brookes in 2002. It inspired her to want to learn about the preventative perspective of health care and how it was just, if not more, important in helping and educating others’ in dis-ease and health.
Shireen trained in a Complementary Therapies Diploma at the City of Bath College and qualified in 2006. She also qualified as a Traditional Thai Master practitioner Diploma in 2008 at the Highly esteemed Body Harmonics Centre in Cheltenham. As an experienced holistic practitioner Shireen is continually developing her skills and furthering her knowledge in holistic health and nutrition through reading, research, attending talks and workshops and has a deep, extensive knowledge and understanding of the human body through various studies and nursing. Shireen’s practice aim is to tailor each treatment as acutely as possible to address the specific problem areas. This can be achieved through incorporating different massage disciplines, giving a uniquely synergistic and individual treatment. I gained a special interest in holistic health, wellness and natural beauty on my travels around the world. Having worked in the fashion industry for many years and still modelling well into my fifties -I have had a vested interest in how to look and feel ones best totally naturally!
I am trained in Reiki, Cranio-Sacral Therapy , Reflexologist AOR and specialise in maternity treatments often combining aromatherapy, massage and reflexology. Rejuvanessence and Facial Energy Release- face therapy. Qualified in Advanced Massage in 1990 and became an IFPA registered Aromatherapist and Rejuvanessence® practitioner in 1991.
Please take a look at my own website carolinejosling.com
My treatments often draw on a mélange of all these techniques with a strong holistic lean; I offer advice on how to optimise health naturally with life- style and supplements suggestions whilst complementing any conventional medical treatment. In a busy and often stressful world I believe that treatments can restore and revive the person, as well as offering support whilst going through a stressful time, recovering from illness, low energy or grief. Treatments can help to release pent up stress and tension to help you regain balance.
I have run many practitioner trainings since 2004 /2013 for The International Institute of Rejuvanessence and now run practitioner trainings in Facial Energy Release-face therapy.
Facial Energy Release – face therapy
This is a wonderful life-enhancing therapy that soothes away the ravages of modern life. Unique fingertip holistic therapy also known as “Angels Touch”.
It includes gentle, very precise massage of the 91 muscles of the face, neck skull and shoulders whilst also working on facial connective tissue making it more elastic and flexible.
As well as looking younger, clients often say that they feel invigorated, rejuvenated, healing. Blissfully hypnotic touch works on lymph, acupuncture points releasing blocked energy and tension. A course of Facial Energy Release comprises of six sessions of 80 minutes each working on different groups of connective tissue and muscles.

Since I first trained as a holistic therapist, I have constantly updated my skill and knowledge. Now I offer a wide range of holistic treatments and, depending on your needs or conditions I carefully choose your treatment plan with you. All my treatments are tailor made to ensure you have a truly holistic experience.
I use combinations of different techniques for my massages which allow me to range from a firm pressure to a delicate touch, which helps to release the tension seated in any depth of tissue.
I have an extensive knowledge of aromatherapy and use this for my treatments. Aromatherapy and holistic treatments work wonderfully together and I take pride in this combination which helps not only reduce physical problems but may also bring emotional relief as well. My treatments are always based on ‘de-stressing’ and you can feel both physically and mentally lighter after my treatment.
Maternity and gynaecological care also feature heavily in my range of treatments. My extensive training in this field brings a deep understanding of the needs of women and enables me to extend my treatments to help with hormonal, physical and emotional changes for any stages of women’s life.

I became interested in acupuncture when I was successfully treated with it after getting malaria in South America. I had previously travelled extensively in China and worked in Taiwan, leaning to speak Chinese while I was there.
I graduated from the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading in 1996. We were taught to combine 5 Element acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine styles of treatment to cover different techniques where one or both are more appropriate.
I enjoy working with all people but have specialized in fertility – male and female, hayfever, migraines and headaches, back pain and insomnia.
I try to create a calm and quiet atmosphere and feel it is very important to listen carefully and give clients a space where they can feel safe and supported.
I am a member of the BAcC which has a Code of Practice, Code of Ethics and Continued Professional Development policy
